July Week 3! :)

#1 Yesterday was a not-so-good day for me. Eunise texted me , she asked me to bring the prom money by next week. Actually I'm still not sure whether should sit with them or not because I'm suppose to sit with my best friends. But because of some reasons, I dont feel like sitting with them anymore. so in the end, I made up my mind to sit with Jamie they all. :)

#2 I'm really sorry. :/ I know you have been begging me for so many weeks just to borrow my camera. I really wanna help you! but.... I cant. I had tried my best. :( I hope you can understand my situation too. :)

July Week 2! :)

#1 Had my last installation yesterday. Felt so old after the event. :( I saw a lot of new faces from other schools, I guess all of them are new board of directors. :) I bought a small memo pad which has a simple quote on the cover for my successor- Hsiu Fen. I was quite regret after knowing that she gave me a really nice note book! The colour of the cover is sweet pink. ;) I love it some much! Thank You Hsiu Fen. :D

July week 1! :)

#1 Last Wednesday was my daddy's birthday! Once again HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADDY! i MADE A BIRTHDAY CARD FOR HIM ( IT WASN'T THAT NICE, SO I'M NOT GONNA POST IT UP :P) Daddy= My Best Friend= BEST DADDY EVER :D So we went to this japanese restaurant in Damansara Utama- Hokano. The environment wasn't that nice, but the food were not bad. :)

June Week 4! :)

#1 Celebrated Edalene's birthday yesterday with Huiqing, jia Hui, Chai Lee, Pei Qian and Edalene's FRIEND at macdonald. :) Reached there around 10:15am, so I meet up with jia hui and chai lee first. After huiqing arrived, I brought her to Subway since she said she didnt eat subway sandwich before. Something funny happened when I'm paying for the sandwich. HAHAAHA HUIQING DONT WORRY I'M NOT GONNA SAY IT OUT HERE. :P Chai lee and jia hui bought a piece of secret recipe's cake for Edalene. :) It's chocolate banana cake! After the celebration, Huiqing, chai lee and jia hui went to SMKBU3 for their chinese quiz. hope they do well! :D 

June Week 3! :)

#1 Last Sunday our school had this raise fund event- E-thon! :) Our class sold sandwiches, fried mee hoon, and drinks. Since I was one of the helper ( thanks to chai lee -.-) so I have to get up early. When I reached school, I was like @#$%^^&! not even half of the school's students came to school. Honestly this event was kinda failed. :( Our school should force all the students to come or maybe give some rewards to those who came. At first I was kinda boring because I have nothing to do. But in the end I found it wasn't as boring as I thought. I got to walked around and promote our foods to the students and teachers. :)

Discrimination Lives Within Everyone Essay

    As members of modern and civilized societies, we must always attempt to educate each other if we wish to live in a cohesive community. Sociology is a study that focuses on actions which effect society and how the characteristics of societies influence human development. Scholars of sociology analyze factors such as race, religion, and national origin, among others, in the hopes of determining the various ways that these factors shape a society’s beliefs and attitudes towards their fellow citizens. Issues that are often discussed throughout the sociological circle are racism and discrimination. Racism and discrimination can take many different forms and can have a negative effect on one’s career, health, and personal development. This paper will use sociological principles in order to analyze examples of the way various aspects of one’s life may be affected by discrimination, prejudice and racist behaviour.

          The line between racism and discrimination is often blurred and it is a task in itself to classify acts between the two categories. In order to determine the ways that racism and discrimination affect one’s life, we must first determine the difference between these two classifications. Race can be defined as a social construct that can group people based on characteristics such as skin colour, ancestry, cultural affiliation or history, and ethnic background (Adams et al) and therefore, racism is prejudice against, discrimination towards, and unequal treatment of people based on these categories. The concept of discrimination spans across multiple factors such as age, gender, sexual orientation as well as race and skin colour. Furthermore, it is important to realize the way that the individual’s race, gender, ethnicity, culture, or background can be correlated to the variety of issues different groups experience. The stereotypes and prejudice people experience vary greatly and we must analyze which groups of people are most commonly affected by potentially harmful misinformation.

           Throughout history, differences in race, ethnicity, and religion have been the source of many problems, including slavery, wars and even genocide. Racial tension is creating civil wars and wars on the street, which are constantly occurring all around the world anywhere from France to South Africa to Detroit, Michigan. In order to understand the serious nature of these crimes, we must analyze the past. The most outstanding example that comes to mind is the events directed by Adolf Hitler, who came into power in 1933, as he managed a group that discriminated with acts that will hopefully never be repeated. The discrimination affected groups based on racial, political, ideological, behavioural and religious grounds. Among these groups were homosexuals, socialists, Gypsies and Jews, as well as many others. In what is largely considered the most extreme act of racism in history, the German Nazis killed nearly two out of every three Jews in a plan they called the “Final Solution”. A few years later and across the pond, there was a different form of discrimination taking place. Until the Civil Rights movement of the 1960s, racism in the United States took the form of slavery, via capture and breeding of Africans on slave ships to America.

          The implications of these events span many years past their abolishment. Although slavery as an institution has been put to an end, many who have the ancestry of slaves suffer from an inferiority complex and are therefore still victims of mental slavery. A former sports announcer, fired for the proceeding comment, announced that black people have an advantage in sport because of the past breeding of big black people to make good slaves. According to this announcer, for this reason, there are so few black individuals in coaching and executive positions (Fields, 96). Although the highest paid athletes in the United States are black, there is still a feeling of discrimination as blacks are rarely become managers or executives of the same sports (Kahn). The trend here is that more and more professions are becoming equally available to people of all races, creed, and colour. The construct that was once dominated by slavery has been transformed into equality via pioneering activists and history changing occurrences such as affirmative action.

         Although there has been a lot of progress made over the past years, there are currently many various problematic issues in this world that are contributed to by discriminatory behaviour and belief systems. The issues that are most alarmingly affected include poverty and poor lifestyle, mental and physical health, and self-perception. For example, racial bias in medical care, dwelling in bad neighbourhood, the trauma of experiences of discrimination and the acceptance of the societal stigma of inferiority can have damaging consequences for one’s health (Williams, 2006). Unfair hiring practices and wage inequality are customs that perpetuate poverty. Although much progress has been made, there are still cases like the recent black fire-fighter lawsuit in which the Supreme Court in Washington ruled on Monday. The issue here was discriminatory testing towards black firefighters in Chicago as only 11 percent of those who scored ‘high enough’ to be hired were black. However, the judgement ruled that the city should hire 132 randomly chosen black applicants who had a passing score and the test should be changed to a pass/ fail format in order to remove potential discriminatory practices (Holland).

           As sociologists focus on people and the social development process, it is perhaps most vital that we focus on the place in which all modern civilizations develop, the schools. Discrimination is a problem that children commonly face, even as teachers and administrators push the social justice curriculum. Even in countries where education is considered above average, such as Canada, a higher rate of inclusiveness and empowerment of all children is considered a priority. The Canadian Race Relations Foundation published an article exemplifying concrete examples of racism. Quotes from children of all ages show students acting misinformed, ignorant, uninviting and other students being bullied, victimized and marginalized. An example of a common trend shows that there is an assumption that immigrant, visible minority and Aboriginal parents are less intelligent because of their accent, income level, or ability to speak English (Mentor, 4).This type of belief that can escalate into dangerous behaviour and it is crucial that it is dealt with at an early stage in order to halt any advancement.

      Using sociological studies can help one understand all of the aforementioned issues and in turn help minimize the problems with which they are associated. Conflict theory would help one under how the Nazi regime managed to dominate others so effectively meanwhile critical theory has helped change the unlawful nature of past incidents of genocide and slavery. Social constructionists could effectively explain how the social phenomenon of race oriented bullying develops in the school setting. The dynamics, which contribute to an individual’s ability to develop within a group and the development of the group itself, also contribute to the segregation between groups. When defining differences such as race, it is in the definition where the difference is created. The problem lies not within the special treatment of certain groups of people and offering relief based on racial classification should not solve the solution as any type of discrimination towards any type of people is unjust and should not occur in the first place.

June 2 Week! :)

#1 Just came back from CHEEEEER 2012! WOOOHOOOO Our school won the FIRST RUNNER UP! Congratulations to DYNAMITEZ. :D Although Mickeymitez didnt get anything this year, it's okay! :) You are still the best in our heart. <3 This year our supporter team was kinda.... down. :( It's seem like everyone doesn't has the "mood" to stand up and cheer. Including me. D: Sri KL supporters were CRAAZZZY! They brought 2 big drums and they can cheer non stop. They even dance like 24/7. I thought this year cheer will be fun because it's our last year. But nevermind la, at least I enjoyed myself during the event. :)

June Week 1! :)

#1 Had an outing with my dearest classmate- Huiqing, Edalene, Pei ming Chai Lee and Jia Hui on tuesday. :) We went to ou to celebrate my birthday! We had our lunch at Fish & Co. My Favourite restaurant ever! :D After that all of us had nothing to do, so we decided to watch a movie. It's a chinese love story movie. hahaha Actually It's quite nice. :D Ella was so cute in the movie. After our movie, we went to have our chatime! Now it had become my favourite drink. :p At night, me and Pei Ming had a Leo dinner at Carnaval with our Mission Leo Possible's committees.  The food there were so good! :) But vegetarian cant go there because the restaurant is all about MEAT! :D They gave me kinda like a small surprise birthday celebration! I didnt expect they will celebrate with me. I was so touching at that moment because none of my friends did that to me before!  But I try to control my tears. hahahaha I'm just too shocked to have a surprised from them. :) Although they didnt buy me cake, but they ordered a desert for me.:D This is the best birthday surprise to me ever! Thanks again to Alex, Sher Wu, Jack, Pei Ming, Andrew, Beatrice and Melvin. Honestly, I expect to have a suprise birthday party from them before my high school end, but I'm happy enough to have my dearest classmate and leo's friends celebrate it with me. :)

#1 Sorry teacher! I know I'm kinda late to update my blog but at least I still update right? :p Everyone is having their mid-term exam in this month- MAY! I didnt expect this mid term exam will be so hard. All the teachers were like set all those difficult questions and try to kill our brain cells. :/ We have too much things to study! I swear I did studied and tried my best to do every single questions I can. I'm not a computer or a memory card, I cant remember everything. I was so nervous when I sat for my add math and all the science subject papers. I cried during my add math paper. I'm afraid that I'll fail this paper. After every single papers, I keep on hearing that everyone asking each other about the paper.They will start the conversation like this, " so how was the paper? then person B will reply " *sigh* very hard leh, I think I'm gonna fail this time. " Everytime I heard this kind of reply, I feel like punching them! Do they know what's the meaning of FAIL? FAIL is you get your marks below 40! 85 marks is not a FAIL kay?! I seriously hate this kind of people. if you think the paper is easy for you, you can just tell us. You dont need to act like it's very hard for you! We wouldnt tease you or whatever.

April Week 4! :)

#1 ohmaigod our mid-term exam is coming! And I have not prepare a single thing. :/  This week I was very busy with my leo stuff, as our major event-IU Day is coming. Everyday keep collecting all the forms back from the students and count all the money. It's just too much for me. I dont know how people can handle their academic so well in the same time with their curriculum activities. I really cant do do it. I felt so down last few days. I keep thinking that what if this mid-term exam I get very low marks AGAIN? What if because of my results and I cant get a scholarship? My parents will be super disappointed with me. They spent so much money on me, and in the end I just get a shit result from them. Sometimes I really dont know what can I do for them.

April third week! :)

#1 Today I went to this event which organized by lions club of petaling jaya- Blind leading the blind charity walk. I woke up at 5:15 AM, because everyone has to reach there by 6:30 sharp and I still have to fetch my friends. So at 6 o'clock, I went to lerynne's house to fetch her and voon. Luckily he came on time, cause he lives at kelana jaya so I thought maybe he will be late. After that, we went to Macdonald to but our breakfast. Now they are having a promotion, they sell this chicken muffin burger for just 2.50 ringgit! Isn't that very cheap? Hahaha after buying breakfast, it was already 6:15am, and I have to reach there by 6:30 sharp. I can't be late because I'm the head of in charging this event for our school. Finally I reached there around 6:25am. I saw quite a lot of members standing there and waiting for me to make their attendance. So I quickly got out from the car and took their attendance one by one. Surprisingly, there were 5 members who didn't turn up, I was quite disappointed with them. But there were 59 members who turned up! So yeah! :D At 7:30am, me and joy went to the registration to collect stokers and the blindfold stuff then we distribute to all the members. Later on we were called up to go to the backstage to prepare for the open ceremony. The event started at 8 o'clock. You have to find a partner for this walk, one person have to be blindfolded, another person have to hold the person who has been blindfolded. My partner was a tall guy- my brother. Obviously, he will force me to be the blindfolded one. But later on, we decided to take turn. :) we walked almost for 1 hour and 30 minutes. After finish walking, i was extremely tired. Although they told us that this is a 3km walk, but I felt like I have walked for like 100km. But it was a good experience foe me. :)

#1 just went to shopping with clarisse, su Ann and Si Wei. Lerynne and Cecilia can't make it because they have another date with their friends. :p we went to buy our forum's drees. Cause if we don't buy now, we wont have time to buy. Cause it just after one day of our mid term exam. At first we still taking our own sweet time to walk around and chat with each other. But when I looked at my watch, it was already 12 o'clock! I was like shit I have to quickly buy a dress. :( around 12:30, I finally found a dress. Is a quite vintage dress. But is okay cause it suit my forum theme. :) me and Si Wei bought the same dress but just different colour. Hehehe :) at first I choose a red one and a blue one, I didnt try on the pink one. Cause I don't really like that pink. But clarisse asked me to give it a try. She said it might suit my skin colour. So I tried it. It looked not bad on me, so I decided to buy it which cost me 80 bucks!! When the moment I made my payment, my heart was kinda broken. after that, we went to diva( our favorite accessories shop). :D I bought a pair of gold earing from there which cause 13 bucks ( okay la not that expensive, I still can afford it). Since we spent so much money today, so all of us decided to have our lunch at Mcd. 10 bucks settle everything. :)

#2 Yesterday went to Jia Hui's house for the stupidboringlame sivik project. i thought I will be the last one to reach because my parents have to take my brother's report card so I have told them earlier that I may be a bit late. But surprisingly, I'm the first one who reach there. -.- Edalene and Huiqing reached there just after me. Chai Lee was the last one to reach. But is okay, huiqing and Jia hui start to discuss what we have to do later. While me and Edalene sitting on the sofa watching some dontknowwhat cartoon. Almost 45 minutes later, the stupid pig finally reached. So all of us walked to the park ther and start doing our sivik project which is picking up all the rubbish around the park. While all of them are so serious picking up all the rubbish, I quickly snap down some photos. hahahaha After that I helped them took some group photos as i already promised them earlier. Everyone looks so good in the pictures( depends on who's the photographer! :p)! I like taking photo with friends, cause every time when I look back all the photos that i have taken, it will bring back all the sweet memories and moment. :) I know that this is our last year to be together, and I expected all of us wont be seeing each other so often or maybe lost contact, so I will try my best to take as much photos as I can with you girls. <3

#3 Yesterday was EARTH HOUR! :D I went to SMK Assunta to celebrate it with all the lwos from SMK Taman Sea, SMK Assunta, SMK Taman Petaling, SMK USJ4, SMK La Salle and omega from Petaling Jaya Integrity and my best friends. This is the first time I celebrate Earth Hour with so many frineds. :D I reached there around 7 o'clock as I have tuition until 6 o'clock. I registered myself at the registration counter, went to change ( they provide us a T-shirt), only I went to meet up with Clarisse and Liuh Enn. We have dinner together at the school canteen. Their canteen was so clean and neat! :D After our dinner, we went to the field and wait for the event to start. All the performances was quite good but I totally dont know how their faces look lik as there is no light on the field. All I can see are their movement. :P hahahaha Around 8:30pm, we have this candle light walk around their school. Everyone was so excited except for me. Because I'm afraid that someone will accidentally burn my hair. :( After the candle light walk, they have this lucky draw session. They asked us to checked our lucky draw number which already stick on our goodies bag. So I saw my number was 262. It's a quite nice number. So I told Clarisse and Liuh enn, " Aiya this kind of lucky draw I confirm cannot win one, if I did, it will also be a small small prize only." So three of us dont really care about this lucky draw thingny, so we continue with our gossips. Suddenly, I heard someone keep repeating 262 this number, it sounds familiar, so I looked down and search for my lucky draw number. OMG! That's my number! Clarisse was like keep pushing me to go out and take my prize but I dont know why I'm just too embarrassing to go out. So this sampat Clarisse suddenly shouted very loud and said, " 262 is over here!" I was like shit. I forced to go out now. And I got this small hamper sponsored by FAMOUS AMOS. :D I think this is my luckiest day ever! :)

   

                                               

March Week 3! :)

#1 Congratulation to my form 5 senior! :) Really proud of them! Most of them have good results. Seeing all of them getting the results they want, I wonder can I get the results I want too? :0 So i had made a study plan for myself. I have been making this "study plan" since I was form 1. hahahaha it always FAILED. But this time quite success, cause I  challenged it with hui qing! :D *challenge accepted* I did study for the first four days LIM HUIQING! :P Anyway thanks for challenge cause without this challenge  I wouldn't have the uge to study. So I'll continue it tomorrow. :)

March Week 2!:)

This holiday is not a holiday for me. Actually, I planned to study during holiday. I had made a small timetable for myself. But in the end- it FAILED. :'(I wonder how on earth people can study during holiday? I always have the urge to study during holiday, but i don't know why it always can't to happen!

#1 Now I'm addicted to this app-Temple Run!:) No matter where I go, I'll always bring my I-pod with me. Because of me, now all my family member are addicted yo this game too. My highest score is 6 million, but someone challenge me to score 20 million *Challenge Accepted. Hahaha. :D

March Week 1! :)

Finallyyyy...... EXAM IS OVER!!!

#1 Although after our exam we have one week holiday but it's not a holiday for me. I have to start studying for SPM! :/ That's a lot to study. Like Biology( the subject I hated most! D: ), Chemistry, Physic and History. After our this so called " monthly test" I realized that form 5's exam is not as easy as I thought. You have to study really hard only you can get a "not so bad" result. Although this test is not as important as the mid-term exam, so if my result is not that good I'll treat it as it's just a practice to me. At least I know I really did my best during exam and what's my standard compare to others. :)   

#2 Yesterday our LEO Club had organised this project called " Leo-Mission Possible". It's Something like a treasure hunt. It was held in Taman Tun Park. All the committees have to reach there by 6 o'clock ( Means I have to wake up at 5:15AM!!! D:) to set up because the registration starts at 7 o'clock. Around 8 o'clock the game started. The participants have to find all clues in the park and then use all the clues to collect their ingredients to make some sandwiches. After that they have to sell all the sandwiches they made to the joggers in the park. Around 11 o'clock, our auction started. They have to use the money ( from how they sell the sandwiches) to buy a envelope. All the envelope contain a higher or lower value of money. So it has to depends on your luck! After having all the money, they are given a list of things to buy to the orphans. Whoever reach the orphanage first, will be the winner. :) Me and few of the committees have to stay back at the park first because we have to clean up the park. By 1:30 pm, everyone has reached the orphanage. we let everyone have their lunch first, only we start our decorate cupcake session. Everyone enjoy playing with the orphans. Laughter can hear all around. :D After that is our prize giving session, the champion group can have a brand new samsung phone! *jealous* Lastly, is our group photo time! After packing up everything things, one of the committee fetch us back to one Utama and our parents will fetch us there. :) On the way to new wing taxi station, me and sher wu saw Edalene and her "friend" were at there too. :P 

        

February week 5! :)

Weeeeeeeeeee our class got first place in the inter-class drama competition! :D Actually I'm kinda expected our class will win. HEHEHE Because we had put lots of effort in this drama competition. Our class was just like a family, although we fight, disagree with each other but still we try to help each other to solve the problems. Honestly, when I first got into this class, I felt so sad because none of my friends same class with me. But sooner, i found that this class wasn't as bad as I thought. It's getting funnier! :D But that's something bad happened too. :(

#1 I dont know why this year we quarreled a lot. You were like scolded me almost everyday. Talked to me in a cold way even if I'm not the one who make you angry. But I'm okay with it, because I knew that maybe you're still angry with what I did last week. But how could you talked to her in a nice way when she was the one who made you angry? Aren't I'm your daughter too? I know I'm just a useless daughter to you. I cant compare anything with her. She's the best to you. Sometimes, I feel so sad when I see all my friends' mother talk to their child in a "mother-and-child-way" . I cant tell my friends how I feel, because I know that they wouldn't understand what's my feeling. I know you love me. You always try to give me the best, try to buy me what I want, give me enough money to use, protect me like I'm still a small kid as I'm already 17. But these are not what I want. I just want you to be a good listener so that we can always have a heart-to-heart talk. I'm just too over-protected by you, stop protecting me, because now is the time you should let me go and learn how to become an adult. 

#2 I seriously have some advice for YOU. PLEASE THINK BEFORE YOU SPEAK! You said I'm b****y when you're the b**** to everyone? There's always a reason behind why everyone hates you. Please dont think that you're more powerful than us, so that we have to scared of you. We're not scared of you. we're just RESPECT you! Because we know that you're our friend. And stop taking advantage from your friends, they're not your slave. They are human too. That's one day all your friends will leave you if you continue with this kind of shitty attitude.

February Week 4! :)

                        

Weeeee this week is our class drama week! I have never participate in drama competition before but this time I get to act as a TREE with my two best friends. :D Although act as a tree sounds very simple to you all, but I find that is not that easy at all! You have to remember when you have to go in and out of the scenes. :/ If not you will embarrass yourself. hahahaha I did some mistakes during the competition but is okay because it's over! :) By the way I'm proud that i'm in props group. Everyone was praising how awesome our props were! Our props' leader Yi Lin really put a lot of efforts in it. :D Thank you Yi Lin!

It's fourth week of February! :( First monthly test is getting nearer to us. We still have one more week only. It's time to start studying but I didn't even touch one page of my biology textbook yet. This whole month I'm like slacking around still think that I have time to study. I think I really have to start studying by NOW.

February Week 3 :)

This week was kinda emo week for me. I had some problems with my friends. Since last year, I felt quite left out when I was with them. All of them went to the same tuition, so the time I get to talk to them was during our recess. But our recess was only 20 minutes, so i didnt really have enough time to talk with them. When they are talking about something which I didnt know at all, I will ask them about it. But sometimes they didnt even want to share their secret with me, so what can I do? Do you know what was my feeling when the moment I asked you about your secret and you didnt even want to tell me? Aren't friends share their secrets and happiness with each other? Sometimes I feel like I'm just a stranger to them. I always act like I'm glad to have all of you to be my best friends but actually I'm not. Since all of you hate each other, then why do you all still want to be friends? If you hate someone, just dont be friends with them, that's all. You dont need to backstab each other. 


Today I went to a seminar which was at Segi college, Subang Jaya. Before I went there, I thought I gonna be quite lonely because all my friends didnt go. :/ so before the day, I texted my BU4 friend, but he said he's not going. So I'm kinda sad. D: But surprisingly, I wasn't lonely at all. hahahaha I sat with him duirng the whole seminar. Although they keep teasing me but it's okay, at least someone talks to me. :D During our lunch break, we went to Mcd and chatime in summit which was just beside segi college. After buying all the foods, we walked back to segi college and have our BM and maths seminar. 

February Week 2 :)

Oh gosh is second week of February! :/ Means our first monthly test are getting nearer. Maybe to some people monthly test is just a piece a cake but to me is something important. Few days ago, my mum asked me about my report card. I was like SHIT I have to face it now. She scolded me cause why until now I haven't show her my result. At first I was okay with her scolding part cause I knew it was my fault. but later on she keep scolding me something that I didnt do it. I hate people scold/blame me for the wrong thing! I remember last time when i get stressed up or get scolded by someone, I'll text him and tell him my problems. And he will help me to solve my problem. He's a good listener. :) But I cant get angry for too long cause I'm on the way to my Leo meeting.  So i went to the website that puan Hasila told me. I found out that I got really suck results for my last term exam. I was so shocked that my Chinese paper almost failed. I have been studying Chinese for the past 10 years. How could I failed it? :( I felt so disappointed. So I swear to myself I must study Chinese( like keep doing exercise book, read newspaper.read more essay book and etc.)  everyday at least 1 hour and do more add math questions. :) I believe that PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT! :D

Today is my BESTIE- CLARISSE'S BIRHTDAY! <3 I knew her when I was form 3 cause we were in the same class. When I first saw her I was like whoa she's gorgeous and her smile is so lovely. We started to know each other better day by day. Slowly she became one of my friend that I will tell her my every single secret. We love to gossip about other  people. hahahaha But things always didnt go the correct way. We were separated with each other when we were form 4. We got into difference classes. Although our class just beside each other, but we seldom talk. :( We only can talk to each other when our add math tuition. THAT'S THE REASON WHY WE ARE SO TALKATIVE DURING TUITION. :P

Article- Night Without End

The story began with A BOAC airplane crash-lands on the Greenland ice cap far from its usual route after flying in a seemingly erratic fashion. A scientific research team based near the crash site rescues the surviving passengers and takes them to their station. The team finds one passenger and most of the flight crew are dead with one of the pilots having been shot in the back. The only means of contact with the outside world, a radio set, is destroyed in a seemingly accidental manner.
With not enough food for everyone and no hope of rescue, the leader of the scientific research team, Dr Mason, decides that they must set out for the nearest settlement. Meanwhile the pilot who was shot and in a coma is found to have been suffocated. An attempt is also made on Dr Mason's life by getting him to be lost in the arctic night. The scientists' suspicion falls on stewardess but she is soon cleared. Dr Mason orders Joss to stay behind and repair the radio so that a field expedition can be contacted. The dead passenger is determined to be a military courier; soon after that the wreck goes up in flames.
Dr Mason leaves with the group along with the other scientist, Jackstraw while remaining in touch with their station by means of a short range radio. Meanwhile, the field expedition returns to the station and contacts Dr Mason. They inform him that a massive military mobilization has happened to locate the crashed plane and that it carried something very important. The governments having refused to divulge anything have tried to contact Dr Mason's station. Finding the station to be non-responding, they have requested the expedition chief, Captain Hillcrest, to check out the station.
Dr Mason decides to go on with the journey since any attempt to return will induce the murderers to act. He keeps this new development to himself and Jackstraw. Captain Hillcrest sets out after the group but soon finds that the petrol he picked up the station has been tampered with. Sugar has been added to the petrol causing the sugar to melt and stick to the engine parts leading him to get bogged down. A solution is found to this when one of the passengers, a chemist, suggests that the petrol be mixed with water and the top layer of the resultant mixture be siphoned off. Almost at the same time, the governments also relent and inform Dr Mason through Captain Hillcrest that the military courier carried a top secret missile guidance mechanism and that it is made to look like a tape recorder. Dr Mason realizes that one of the passengers picked up such a device at the crash site. But this precipitates the murderers into action and they take over the group.
Finding that killing the entire group is not feasible, the criminals make them ride with them. But soon they abandon all of them save the stewardess, for whom Mason has developed a soft corner, and the father of a passenger who is a boxer. In the process, one of passengers left behind is killed. The group stumbles on in the arctic blizzard guided by the guard dogs with one of them dying during this trek. Soon they come across the abandoned sled that contains rocket sondes. They use it to guide Captain Hillcrest to them and set out in chase across the arctic landscape.
They manage to catch up with the criminals near the shore where a trawler waits for the criminals. But the intervention of navy, on information from Captain Hillcrest, frightens off the trawler. The criminals are surrounded here and after a bitter hand to hand combat between the protagonists and the criminals, the mechanism and the hostages are rescued.

february week 1 :)

I think February to every girl is a romantic month. Cause of VALENTINE DAY! I used to be very excited with this day. but i already used to celebrate this day alone for the past 4 years. #foreveralone. I dont think this year i can celebrate it with him. :/ But at least I still have my friends. :D Honestly, being single is not like the world gonna end. yeah maybe sometimes you'll feel lonely or being left out cause all your friends have pair up but you still have your family. In this stage, i think study is far more important then relationship. 

But the way, I got invited to Adeline's open house yesterday which is 4th of February. Her house was like.... WOAH damn BIG! i went late cause i have tuition 6pm. I reached her house around 6:45pm. Actually i quite scare to go to her house cause she has two huge dogs which i dont know what's their name and I dont really care cause I'm scare of DOGS AND CATS. :( After the dinner, we played a card game. it's kinda fun. but the fun part was the TWISTER part! :D 

January Journal :)

Cant believe my January just ended like this. :/ First day of school was quite fun, finally can meet all my "sampat" friends and tell them how boring was my holiday life. hahaha This year all the teachers are rushing the syllabus. First day of school already have lots of homework. :( As you all know, this year is a very important year to all form 5 students-SPM, so i promised to myself, 1) must CONCENTRATE in class 2) Finish up ALL my homework ( no copying) 3) Stop TALKING to 3 of THEM ( you know who you are! :P). At the first week, I;m doing quite well. I did concentrate in class, finish up all my homework by the day itself and seldom talk to them during class. BUT.... the second week, I started dreaming in class, copy all the homework before the teacher comes in and the most terrible one - I CANT EVEN STOP TALKING TO THEM! ( this is what best friends are. <3 hahaha)


Finally, CHINESE NEW YEAR is coming! Everyone is busy buying their new year clothes except me! :) hehehe Cause i bought everything last year. :D Sometimes I don't get why dont people buy their new year clothes earlier since Malaysia have YEAR END SALES? :0 So that you dont have to panic where to buy clothes just before few days of Chinese New Year.

First day of Chinese New Year, is the best day of the month! :D On that day i helped my siblings took lots of photos since my parents just bought a DSLR for me last year.
